Teatrino Basaglia

The “Teatrino” (tiny theatre) named after Franco and Franca Basaglia, is a property of cultural and historical value located in Trieste in via Weiss 13, inside the Park of San Giovanni.

It has a maximum capacity of 250 seats and is equipped to host theatrical, musical, conferences, and any other activity or event compatible with the characteristics of the property, declared of cultural interest by the Ministry for cultural heritage and activities.

The theater was inaugurated on June 28, 2008 with a show included in the “Theaters at the Theater” festival, in 2010 the external space of the property was dedicated to Angelo Cecchelin, in the same year the structure was named after Franco and Franca Basaglia.
